Experience:
 

USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) – Helping people care for the Land for over 30 years in Illinois, Florida and Washington DC.
Served as a range, soil, district and assistant state conservationist with NRCS providing technical assistance to landowners, farmers, ranchers, land managers, units of government and others to address natural resource concerns associated with ranches, farms, grazing and confined livestock, dairies, citrus, tomatoes, vegetable crops and other operations. Emphasis was on the sustainability of agricultural operations through the wise use and conservation of natural resources associated with a wide range of land uses, soil types, ecosystems, economic resources and other variables. Operated a mobile irrigation lab that evaluated irrigation system efficiency for agricultural crops and made recommendations that improved efficiency, conserved water and energy and met crop needs.
